Kidani Village – Dinner at Sanaa

After 4 hours relaxing at the pool, reading, playing with the kids and overall enjoying our vacation not in the car! We headed back to our hotel room to get ready for dinner! We had reservations at 7:50 pm in Sanaa (Loving the African theme to this restaurant as well as the resort!!) So beautiful, welcoming and the ambiance is amazing!! Little did I know Trevor had hooked up a birthday sing song for me at dinner time! The entire staff to Sanaa came up banging on traditional African drums to wish me a very happy birthday!! Was it ever! Trevor and I ordered a gorgeous vegan friendly spread!
We ordered an appetizer Sampler for Two - Potato and Pea Samosas, and Roasted Cauliflower

Our main course was Sanaa Vegetarian Sampler

Choice of two served with Basmati Rice or Five-grain pilafs
$14.99
Spicy Cauliflower, Onions, Tomatoes, and Mint
Vegetable Sambar
We also chose Indian Style Bread Service
Choice of 3 breads and 3 accompaniments
Serves Two $8.99
Breads - Naan, Onion Kulcha, Papadum, Paneer Paratha
Accompaniments - Red Chile Sambal, Cucumber Raita, Coriander Chutney, Mango Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Mint Chutney, Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus, Tamarind Chutney
Here is the a picture of our main course! Delicious!!

Trevor and I's sauces for our Naan bread and Pompadums.
(we didn't eat the cream sauce, was an extra option).

Gorgeous!! Wonderful Ambiance in the Sanaa Restaurant!!

Beautiful Britain!!

Our Handsome boy Luke!!

17 Yrs together!! 16 Yrs Married!! Still madly in love!!

Crazy for one another!!

Beautiful Girls and BFF's Abby and our girl Sky!!

Crazy in the house!!

Britain took this one of herself!! Our kids take our breathe away!! They are all so striking!!
We chose the Naan, Onion Kulcha and Papadum’s! Yummy! Our accompaniments were: Mango Chutney, Tamarind Chutney and Mint Chutney!  Liked all but the Mint Chutney as it was beyond overpowering! Washed it all down with a delicious Super Fruit Margarita and Trevor had draft beer. Our kids were being allowed to eat like typical American Kids and ordered: Sky hamburger with fries, Britain – chicken breast with rice pilaf and rice (she is more conscious now and ordered better than her siblings!) Luke – our only boy is a pizza lover beyond and ate the pizza with grapes and fries!
Overall the day was wonderful and we still have 4 nights and 5 days till we hit Hilton Head, SC!
